GUIDELINES FOR MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION:
Intended to generate an internal debate
within the house of Islam, "Future Islam"
covers a broad range of issues concerning
the future of our troubled world. It encourages
clear thinking, original ideas, in most possible
articulate English that can be pleasure to
read by both the professionals and the common
people.
We
encourage Revelation-based thinking and attach
special importance to the infallible words
of God as recorded in the Quran, nevertheless
we do not shy away from other ideologies or
standpoints and hence our forum is open to
all those whose writings and thinking make
some sense. Being an internal debate within
the Ummah that has been assigned to lead history
till the End time does not mean that we are
not open to others. On the contrary, this
internal debate has its target outside; to
repair the damage done to humanity by flawed
thinking and restore the sanity and glory
of greater human family.
We
inherit one world. It is the collective responsibility
of God-conscious people, no matter what civilization
they represent, to feel concerned at the plight
of Man. Hence, this forum is open to Muslims,
other Muslims (submitted souls in other religious
traditions) and the non-Muslims alike, as
enshrined in the Quran:
O People of the Book! come to common terms
as between us and you: that we worship none
but Allah; that we associate no partners
with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves
Lords and patrons other
that Allah (Q 3:64)
We
welcome articles under the following categories;
(a) LEAD ARTICLES aimed at generating a debate
on specific issues should run somewhere between
2000 to 3000 words, (b) INSIGHTS should run
between 4000 to 5000 words aimed at making
a single thought provoking point. New books
ie, long essays, are covered under review
essays spanning some 2000 words and shorter
reviews comprising some 500 words. We specially
encourage correspondence as feedback from
our readers on the materials published previously.
Then, there is a letter to the editor section,
each letter soliciting some 500 words may
be edited for the space and clarity.
We
encourage submission through e-mail, however,
we also accept nicely typed material through
regular mail.
Please e-mail your
material with a covering letter to edit@futureislam.com
or send it through conventional mail to:

All submission should
be accompanied by a brief note about the author,
his/ her standing in public and intellectual
arena , recent publications and, if possible,
a future plan. We rely on the information
provided by the authors hence they are morally
responsible to recheck the veracity of their
statements. We do not want the journal to
look like a purely academic venture meant
for specialists yet at times we respect footnotes
if they are really unavoidable.
