Dear Brother,
Your points are learned, valid and shared. Importantly, as muslims living in the West we will have to expect to be subjected to further outrages and provocations. This is because, those who react aggressively can then be 'targetted, isolated and dealt with' by the appropriate authorities. Muslims throughout the world are now being victimised for being just: muslim. Due to the sorrowful incidents of 9/11 & 7/7 we are now all classified as potential terrorists and a threat to our fellow western citizens. The approach is now clearly to 'flush-out' potential muslim extremists using 'issues' to provoke us into reacting.

I just want to know, what is required of us today, what is forbidden, and why it is so? In between the forbidden and the obligatory are many options. It's the limits that aren't made clear today by scholars regarding things like physical jihad, migrating for the sake of Allah, marriage to People of the Book, etc.

I agree whole hearted with most of you points but I think that nature will give you an even deeper insight into the future. Everything in nature has a lead but man most use his own mind to make his choice as he alone is responsible for his own action.
Unity of ALL is the ONLY solution.

The meaning of violence, war, struggle, have to be perforce reviewed to fully grasp the modalities of the changed and changing world. Old definitions and old style serminisation, have to be tempered to take in the full impact of the varied and insidious nature of violence, wars and exploitations. There is room for both pacifism as well as activism in Islam and both should be given full play in any comprehensive thinking on all Muslim responses to the world's expectations with Islamic world.

I found this article rather interesting and insiteful. Although I may not agree with everything that was mentioned, I can respect that you have presented a theory which seems to be very well thought out. I am studying international politics at university and am very interested in issues to do with Islam on the international political stage of interaction.

Thx for producing critical thinking site. In madam Dr. Amina case I would like to appeal all Muslims we should not make non-issue an issue ie let people to develop the way of life My message to Muslims enough is enough Awake n see what Muslims have done to themselves & to entire world
May be madam Dr Amina initiative is not applicable to backward for the time being but in my opinion her methodology is appropriate methodology at right time at right place(21st centure western world) Develop westerner Muslim /noMuslim society will accept her style with warmth just it require the support form Muslim intelligentsia n its u people’s duty to support her For centuries we have suppressed the path of enlightened moderation Time is asking for new Muslim society, with concept of free n fair society The old Muslim society is dying there is no need to let the old one survive any more We should help the old Muslim society to die because it is on deathbed
